Sherry Aikens is a the owner, designer, and creative force behind BabyPop Designs. Sherry is a 15 year veteran of the apparel industry both in design and manufacturing. . A few years ago after the birth of her 2nd child, she left the apparel industry to be home with her kids. After being a working woman and mom for so many years she was not going to stay out of the apparel business for long; clothing is in her blood. So, BabyPop Designs was born. It started with capes, teepees, and has grown to include clothes and accessories.

All of our items are handmade by Sherry and her staff. The BabyPop Staff is made up of other moms who want to work but still be able to spend time with their kids. Sherry and her staff care about children, and each item is made with the same quality and care as if their own children were going to be wearing them.

Our items are "handmade" but not "homemade." What is the difference? Yes, they are made in BabyPop Designs home studio but, we use techniques that Sherry has learned from making garments for some of the top apparel giants in the world like Nike and Reebok. The same techiques and quality assurance are used in making our items, as are used by some of the top apparel companies making some of the most expensive garments in the marketplace.
