So this past Monday, I headed up to NYC to be in the Martha Stewart show audience. She was doing a show based on etsy sellers. It was such a fun day not only did I get to be with some other great sellers. But during the show I was pleasantly surprised to find out that BabyPop superhero capes was being featured in a etsy fashion show. It was so cool to see our Babypop superhero capes come down the Martha Stewart show runway.

The show is airing tomorrow Thurs April 26, 2012 at 10am, 2 am and Friday on the Hallmark channel.
During the show I got to spend time with other etsy seller and I want to introduce you to them.

Jessica and Susan Partain from Inedible Jewelry they were featured on the Martha Stewart doing a how to demonstration how to make their lovely fruit Jewelry. They also wrote a book on how to make inedible art jewelry. Their work is amazing.

This is a fun superhero cape set we did for a client the colors celebrate the childs supehero favortie color. The mom choose a lion because the child loves lion for her kids cape. She Also order superhero gloves with her sons itinial. To it off is the babypop hero lighten mask.

So a customer requested a teepee, but she wanted to use her own teepee fabric. No problem, I can totally use her fabric long as it was heavy enough and 56-60 wide. She sent me the fabric for the teepee and this is the result. I love it I might have to consider stocking this fabric.

So I had a cleint contact me about a rush order her husband need a cape with a Pengiun on it. So we designed a custom cape for her. Sue told me what the cape was for Bennington VT Penguin Plunge
In Susans words "My husband's name is Jim Rubino and he did the plunge after reading about it in a Bennington VT coffee shop. The proceeds went to the Special Olympics of Vermont. Due to his sheer determination and devotion to the cause, he raised the most money of any individual. Thus, I thought it appropriate that he wear a cape!"
So we want to celebrate Jim and his commitment to the Special Olympics!

The love thing about a superhero kids cape is you never know when you are going to find an amazing shot. I took these at the harvest festival this fall.
